On 14th February, 2024, Saraswati puja was celebrated with great pomp and show at RD Senior Secondary School by the teachers and students. All teachers and students actively participated in the puja and worshipped Goddess Sarawasti to bless each one with knowledge and wisdom.

The 74th Republic Day was celebrated with pride and reverence at R.D Senior Secondary School. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolor flag by Respected Judhabeer Rana Sir ( Sahitya Academy Awardee )accompanied by the Principal Dr. Dibyajyoti Dey. Flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem to pay tribute to the motherland and also a Colourful Cultural Function performed by many Group of students. An exhibition on Science, Art and Craft and Socio-culture was organised in the premises of R.D.English Academy on 14/10/23. Eminent Educationist of Digboi Dr. Jatindra Lahkar sir inagurated the Event. Students participation was really encouraging and appreciable.

RD Sr Sec School prays for the eternal peace of the departed soul of our Managing Committee member Purna Kanta Saikia Sir on his sudden demise on 26/8. His association had always been an inspiration for the entire RD Family. We also offer our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

RD family has observed its Foundation Day today in presence of large sections of stake holders of RD. The family paid tribute to Founder Chairman Lt. Rameswar Dhanowar Sir and also a cake cutting ceremony was organised. As a trend, the Office felicitated four teachers and two Hostel authorities on their relentless efforts towards the Institution.

On Completion of 75 years of India's Independence RD English Academy and RD Sr. Sec School have jointly celebrated the Independence Day today.
The programme started with Shradhanjali to Founder Chairman and followed by the Flag Hosting Ceromony by the Hon'ble Managing Director Mrs. Simi Dhanowar in Presence of many noted citizens of Digboi as Distinguished Guests.
As many Competitions were organised in connection to the programme, prize distribution ceremony was one of the important Agenda, with the Vote of Thanks from Principal the programme was declared to be over.

Today, RD Sr. Secondary School and RD English Academy celebrated 75th Indepndence day. The tricolour was unfurled at R.D English Academy campus by Respected Mr. Dibyajyoti Dey, Principal. In presence of all Administrators and Teachers he encouraged the members with his motivating words.
