The National Function Celebration Committee of Digboi has awarded R.D Junior College
the best educational institution of the region. The award was received by Mrs. Simi
Dhanowar, Directress of the Institution in function organised by the committee in
the Jubilee Ground, Digboi on the occasion of the Republic Day. |

Our institution participated in the OILCON WALK;organised by the Indian Oil Corporation
Ltd. (AOD),Digboi to create awareness to conserve oil.Our students bagged the second
prize in the walk competition. |

Miss Bidya Banik, a student of H. S. 1st Year was awarded the second prize in an
All Assam Essay Competition organised by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas,
Govt. Of India at Guwahati. She was awarded with a prize money of Rs. 25000/- (Twenty
Five Thousand) along with momento. Congrats to her. |
