Republic Day Celebration |
|
|
The 66th Republic day was celebrated in the premises of R.D Junior College &
R.D English Academy with great enthusiasm amidst the presence of a large number
of students, teachers and distinguished guests. The tricolour was unfurled by Mr.
T.K Sanyal, retired professor of Digboi College, which was immediately followed
by the singing of the National Anthem. Various cultural programmes based on patriotic
themes were performed by students during the celebration.

Saraswati Puja celebration, 2015 |
|
|
Saraswati puja was celebrated on 24th January, 2015 with traditional fervour and
gaiety in the premises of the new campus of R.D English Academy. A large number
of students, Guardians and well wishers thronged the puja venue and paid obeisance
to goddess Saraswati which was followed by the partaking of prasad and khichri.
Various games were also arranged for the amusement of the students and teachers.

Japanese Encephalitis Vaccination Camp:

|
A Japanese Encephalitis Vaccination Camp is organised by National Rural Health Mission(NRHM)
today at the R.D Junior College Campus.Over 550 students of RDJC and RDEA who are
over 15 years of age and also the general public of Digboi participated in Encephalitis
Vaccination.The vaccination camp was convened by Dr. Manob Borah (HoD Chemistry,
RDJC) and Mr. Prasenjit Narayan Baruah (Office Administrator, RDJC) |
