Hostel Facilities: |

The college provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. There are a
total of 15 hostels accommodating more than 1000 boarders. All the hostels have resident
Hostel In charges (Wardens).

The student intending to reside in these hostel shall have to comply with the rules
and procedures framed separately for the hostels and shall have to go for admission
into the hostels on the same day of admission into the college. A boarder who intends
to leave the hostel, but wants to continue with the college, shall have to pay a
fine of Rs.5,000/- (Five thousand) apart from all their pending dues. This is applicable
only within 15 days of joining the hostel. The guardian has to produce a medical
fitness certificate preferably from a reputed doctor of Digboi where the medical
history of the boarder should be clearly mentioned. This certificate can be produced
within 2 weeks of admission. Guardians are advised not to hide any ailment in the
interest of the boarder. The authority will not attend medical emergencies. Under
such a situation, the local guardian will be informed over the phone and he/she
shall have to attend the boarder immediately. The hostel authority under no circumstances
shall be responsible for any ailment of the boarder and his/her medical attention. |
